Terms of Service – CV Formatting Service

By purchasing or using our CV Formatting Service (“Service”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Service Description

We offer professional formatting of CVs based on client-provided information. Our service includes layout enhancement, typographic consistency, and design improvement for clarity and readability. This does not include content writing, editing, or fact-checking unless explicitly agreed in writing.

2. Client Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date CV content.

  • Ensuring that all information submitted is truthful and verifiable.

  • Reviewing the final formatted document for accuracy prior to use.

We do not verify the factual accuracy of any claims made in your CV.

3. Turnaround Times

Standard turnaround is 3 business days from receipt of all required materials and confirmation of payment. Expedited services may be available at an additional fee.

4. Fees and Payment

All fees must be paid in full before work commences. Prices are clearly listed on our website. Payment is accepted via credit card. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice but will honour any quotes already accepted by both parties in writing.

5. Revisions

One round of minor revisions is included if requested within 5 business days of delivery. Additional revisions or substantial changes will incur extra fees. Revision requests must relate to formatting, not to new content or structural rewrites.

6. Intellectual Property

All formatted documents remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership over your CV content. However, we retain the right to use anonymised versions of final formatted templates for promotional purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all client information and documents as confidential and will not share your materials with any third party without your written consent, except where legally required.

8. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Service, including loss of employment opportunities. We do not guarantee specific results such as job placement or interview offers.

9. Refund Policy

Refunds are not offered for completed services unless we have failed to deliver the service as described. Partial refunds may be considered at our sole discretion in cases of non-delivery due to our error.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available on our website and will take effect upon posting.
